Team History

  • Back in 2023, Jericho and Isaac formed Legacy Z, a development class team. As a debuting team, they won the awards for best graphic design and best team marketing, as well as placing 4th overall.

  • Legacy Z redefined the team by introducing Ben after another member parted with the team. They proceeded to place 2nd in the competition and successfully qualified for the National Finals that season.

  • In early 2025, the national finals took place. Legacy Z finished in 14th place out of 32 overall teams, which was a sound result, but the team wanted more.

  • After evaluating past team performance, Ben, Jericho and Isaac split from Legacy Z to form Genesis, a new team with the newly introduced team members Peter and Zach. This competition was Genesis’ best performance to date, winning with a record breaking score of 926 points of a maximum 1000, and achieving the highest score across all competition criteria.

  • After identifying weak areas in our states performance, we introduced the final member of team Genesis, Max, as our marketing manager. We now aim to take our record breaking performance with us to the National Finals of 2026.
